In short
RRB Thiruvananthapuram has called 50 NTPC Undergraduate candidates for the second round of document verification on 17 and 18 November 2026, with the medical the day after. The block date for anyone who misses it is 30 November.
RRB Thiruvananthapuram has called 50 candidates for the second round of document verification under CEN 06/2024, NTPC Undergraduate. DV is on 17 and 18 November 2026 at the RRB office in Thampanoor, Thiruvananthapuram. The notice is dated 3 November, and the PDF with the roll numbers is linked below.
Each day has two batches, one reporting at 10 am and one at 11:30 am:
- 17 November, 10 am: 13 candidates
- 17 November, 11:30 am: 12 candidates
- 18 November, 10 am: 13 candidates
- 18 November, 11:30 am: 12 candidates
Find your roll number in the PDF to see your day and time. The round 2 cut-off marks came out the same day.
Before the day
RRB is sending SMS and email alerts for the DV e-call letter, but these don't always arrive. Check the website yourself rather than waiting.
Upload your documents on the RRB DV portal, oirms-ir.gov.in/rrbdv: clear scans of every document and a colour scan of your photo and signature. The portal opens 10 days before your DV date and closes on the day. By my count that's from around 7 November if you're on the 17th, and the 8th if you're on the 18th.
If your father's or mother's name is spelt one way in your application and another way in your certificates, you'll need an affidavit before a magistrate or notary, on stamp paper, saying it's the same person. Get it done at home before you travel.
What to carry
- All original documents, in English or Hindi
- Two sets of A4 photocopies, as listed in the CEN and your e-call letter
- Six colour passport-size photos, not more than a month old
- The candidate's foil of your e-call letters for CBT 1, CBT 2 and the typing test (CBTST), if you took it
Plan for four days or more
The medical is the day after your DV, at a nominated railway hospital, and you may have to travel to another city for it. RRB says to be ready to stay more than four days, at your own cost. The medical fee is Rs 24. If you need a test the railway hospital can't do, like a CT scan, an ultrasound or a check for past eye surgery, you may have to pay an outside lab for it.
Being called for DV isn't the same as being selected. If someone higher on the list fails the medical standard for their post, RRB checks whether they fit one of the other posts they opted for. That can push a lower-ranked candidate off the list, even after DV and the medical are done. Your final post depends on merit, your preferences, medical fitness and the vacancies left.
If you miss your date
The block date is 30 November 2026. If you miss both your DV date and the block date, your candidature is rejected, and RRB won't take letters about it.
The RRB Thiruvananthapuram phone number is (0471) 2323357. Go only by the official websites, and don't trust anyone who promises to get you selected for money.
