In short
RRB Bengaluru has published the CEN 05/2025 cut-off merit index after part panel 1 and for DV round 2, for South Western Railway and Rail Wheel Factory. The panel is now marked closed for five categories.
RRB Bengaluru has published the cut-off merit index for CEN 05/2025 after part panel 1, together with the cut-offs for candidates shortlisted for DV round 2. The sheet is dated 5 November 2026 and covers South Western Railway (SWR) and Rail Wheel Factory (RWF). The PDF is linked below.
Part panel 1 itself came out earlier. Here's our post on the 51 empanelled for JE, DMS and CMA. Twenty candidates have been called for round 2 on 19 November. Here are their roll numbers and the DV details.
How to read it
The figures are a merit index, not marks out of 100, which is why they're in the hundreds. Compare yours only with the figure for your own category, railway and community. The notice uses category numbers, not post names. Your category number is on your application and your e-call letters.
Where the panel is closed
RRB has marked these closed after part panel 1, so nobody further is being called:
- SWR: Categories 1, 19 and 22
- RWF: Categories 16 and 26
The row for Category 7 (RWF) is struck through in the PDF, including its "Panel Closed" mark. The notice doesn't explain this, so if you're in Category 7 at RWF, check with RRB Bengaluru.
The rest aren't marked closed: SWR Categories 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 14 and 21, and RWF Categories 3, 8 and 18.

Ex-servicemen and PwBD

The sheet says "No eligible candidates" for hearing impaired and multiple disabilities in Category 18 (RWF), and for multiple disabilities in Category 26 (RWF). These columns are very narrow in the PDF, so check your own figure against it.
If you're called for round 2, keep your original certificates and two sets of photocopies ready. Selection is on merit only, so don't pay anyone who says they can get you onto the panel.
