RRB Bengaluru CEN 03/2024: cut-offs after part panel 8 and for the next DV round

05 Nov 2026, 07:03 PM 3 min read

In short

RRB Bengaluru has published the CEN 03/2024 cut-off merit index after part panel 8 for South Western Railway and Rail Wheel Factory. The panel is now marked closed for ten categories.

RRB Bengaluru has published the cut-off merit index for CEN 03/2024 after part panel 8, along with the cut-offs for candidates shortlisted for the next round of document verification. The PDF is dated 4 November 2026 and covers South Western Railway (SWR) and Rail Wheel Factory (RWF). It's linked below.

The RRB website lists this as round 2, but the PDF and the DV schedule RRB put out the same day both say round 6, so go with round 6.

Read this before comparing numbers

These figures are a merit index, not marks out of 100, which is why they run into the hundreds. Compare yours only with the figure for your own category, railway and community.

The notice names no posts, only category numbers. Your category number is on your application and your earlier e-call letters.

Where the panel is closed

For these, RRB has marked the panel closed after part panel 8. In plain terms, nobody more is being called:

  • SWR: Categories 4, 5, 9_a, 10, 12, 24 and 26
  • RWF: Categories 17, 20 and 32

The rows for Category 11 (RWF) and Category 28 (SWR) are struck through in the PDF, including their "Panel Closed" marks. The notice doesn't say why. If you're in either category, check with RRB Bengaluru before you read anything into it.

The panel isn't marked closed for SWR Categories 7, 8, 9_b, 15, 16, 17, 30 and 32, or for RWF Category 3, so there may still be movement in these.

Cut-offs by community

A dash means there's no figure for that column.

These columns are narrow in the PDF, so check your figure against it. For hearing impaired, the sheet says "No eligible candidates" for Categories 4, 5, 8, 17 (SWR) and 26.

Five candidates have been called for this round, for the JE and DMS posts, on 19 November. Here are their roll numbers and the DV details. Selection is on merit only, so don't pay anyone who promises you a place on the panel.
